We offer a relaxed scan experience, using brand new state-of-the-art equipment to produce amazing scan results, including 3D and 4D images. We have a top of the range GE Voluson E8 ultrasound machine which produces spectacular images. During pregnancy we provide an amazing bonding experience for you and your family so you can share the wonderful experience of seeing your developing baby.
At Discovery Ultrasound we also offer fertility scans to aid conception and in conjunction with assisted conception.
Not just for pregnancy, we also offer gynaecology and well woman scans ( which looks at the womb, womb lining and ovaries). We see ladies who need fertility scans, and also IVF scans for treatment abroad.
Early Scan From 8wks

Recommended from 8 weeks of pregnancy, an early pregnancy scan can provide reassurance, establish how many babies are present, to make sure the heart is beating and give an estimation of the due date.
Well Being & Gender Scan

Performed between 15-24 weeks, this scan will check the growth of the baby and, if requested we can try to establish the gender of the baby! We can also have fun with our gender reveal wall whilst there!
4D Scan

Meet your baby in 4D! Using the latest technology, you can enjoy some amazing images and a get growth check up. Take home a USB stick with a video & images top share with loved ones.
Growth Scan (+24 weeks)

At this scan we can determine which way round the baby is lying (breech, head down etc) and give an estimation of the baby’s weight
Fertility Scan

We offer folicle tracking and cycle monitoring for IVF. Especially beneficial when the IVF clinic is not within easy travelling distance for regular scans.
Well Woman Scan

During this scan we will aim to visualise the uterus, endometrium and the ovaries. This can be performed with or without symptoms and you will get a full report.

We can perform a scan of your abdomen which includes examination of organs including the liver, gallbladder, kidneys, abdominal aorta and spleen. An abdominal scan can be useful for investigation of upper abdominal pain, suspected gallstones, fatty liver, pain in the kidney area and a variety of other reasons
